Flatland
Installation with objects and video projections : animal cages, acua noodles, video projections, monitors, objects, speakers.

This is my first solo exhibition, inspired by the science fiction novel Flatland and the exhibition space SOMA. The novel, which tells the story of a two-dimensional square embarking on an adventure after encountering a three-dimensional sphere, resonated with my process of transitioning from two-dimensional to three-dimensional media in my work.
Following the rule "sculpture (reality) high, video (imagination) low," all video works were projected onto screens placed on the floor, while tall pillar-like sculptures reminiscent of the exhibition space’s columns were created using modular animal enclosures.
